Long before Pike Custom Guitars existed, my life revolved around music.
For more than three decades, I worked behind the scenes as a professional sound engineer, helping artists bring performances to life and developing a deep appreciation for the subtle details that separate good sound from extraordinary sound.
Those years taught me more than how music is heard.
They taught me how it feels.
Building guitars became the natural continuation of that journey, combining a lifetime of listening with a passion for craftsmanship and the pursuit of creating instruments that inspire musicians for years to come.
For more than thirty years, I worked behind the scenes as a professional sound engineer, helping artists bring their music to life night after night on the world’s biggest stages.
Those experiences taught me that extraordinary sound isn't accidental. It's the result of countless thoughtful decisions, careful listening, and an unwavering commitment to the details most people never notice.
Working alongside incredible musicians gave me more than stories. It gave me perspective. I learned how great instruments respond, how exceptional players connect with them, and how subtle differences can completely change the musical experience.
Today, that same perspective shapes every guitar I build.
I may have traded the mixing console for a workbench, but the pursuit has never changed.

Pike Custom Guitars was founded on a simple belief: every musician deserves an instrument built with intention.
Not to impress.

Every guitar that leaves my workshop reflects the lessons I've learned throughout a lifetime in music, from listening critically to building patiently. My goal has never been to build the most guitars. It's to build guitars that musicians will still be inspired to play decades from now.
